Minorca makes clear the need of a new beacon to help to avoid catástofres as that of the Général Chanzy. The authorities attend to the above mentioned need and on July 5, 1912 begin the works of the beacon of Punta Nati.
Inaugurated in September, 1913. It(he,she) rises up to 43 meters on the level of the sea and his(her, your) scope is 26 nautical miles..
"...That light, which in the stormy nights he(she) prepares(anticipates) against the dangers of the cliffs of the zone of the north of the island is at the same time a recollection votivo of the victims of the «Général Chanzy» and a happy safety of which from now on it(he,she) will not have in those places misfortunes as that of the «Général Chanzy»..."
